Section 01
Who we are and why this policy exists.
Favuni Global is an overseas education consultancy that guides students through university selection, applications, admissions and visa preparation. To deliver that guidance we necessarily handle personal and academic information about the students and families who work with us.
This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who it may be shared with, and the choices you have at every stage. It applies to our website, our counselling services, our application support and any communication you exchange with our team.
By using our website or engaging our counselling services, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy.
Section 02
The categories of data we gather and where it comes from.
We collect only what we genuinely need to counsel you and to submit accurate applications on your behalf. Information reaches us directly from you, from your parent or guardian, or automatically when you browse our website.

Preparing documentation checklists, financial evidence guidance and appointment support for the relevant visa authority.
Sending application status updates, deadline reminders, interview schedules and counselling session confirmations.
Resolving your questions, tracking issues to closure and maintaining an accurate record of the advice you received.
Sharing scholarship alerts, intake updates and event invitations only after you have opted in, and only until you opt out.
Understanding how students use our site so that resources and guides can be prioritised sensibly.
Diagnosing technical faults, improving page speed, strengthening accessibility and refining the overall experience.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human review by a counsellor.
Section 05
The limited parties who may receive your information.
Some parts of the admission journey cannot be completed without sharing information with trusted third parties. We share the minimum necessary, and only for the purpose described.
Institutions and their authorised representatives receive application documents so admission decisions can be made.
Embassies, consulates and appointed visa processing centres receive documentation required by immigration rules.
Licensed payment providers process any fees. They handle card data under their own security standards and policies.
Email and messaging providers deliver counselling updates, reminders and consented newsletters.
Website analytics providers process usage statistics, configured to limit the personal data they receive.
Section 06
The safeguards protecting your records.
We apply organisational and technical safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity of student records, and we review them as our services grow.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We work continuously to reduce risk, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Section 07
How long we keep what we collect.
We retain your information only for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as a legal, accounting or regulatory obligation requires.
When information is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Section 08
The control you keep over your personal data.
Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and an explanation of how it is used.
Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, outdated or incomplete in your student record.
Request erasure of your information where we no longer need it and no legal obligation requires us to keep it.
Withdraw consent for marketing or optional processing at any time, without affecting services already delivered.
Receive the information you provided in a commonly used, machine-readable format wherever technically feasible.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us using the contact details below. We may ask for proof of identity before acting, and we aim to respond within a reasonable period.
Section 09
How we treat applicants under 18.
Our services are intended for students aged 18 and above. Where an applicant is a minor, we require a parent or legal guardian to be involved in the counselling relationship and to provide consent for the processing of that applicant's information.
If we learn that we have collected information from a minor without appropriate guardian consent, we will delete it promptly on becoming aware.
Section 10
Why your data may travel across borders.
Studying abroad inherently involves cross-border processing. Your documents may be transferred to universities, visa authorities and service providers located outside India, including in countries whose data protection frameworks differ from your own.
Where we transfer information internationally, we do so for the purpose of progressing your application and take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it confidentially and lawfully.
Section 11
Our responsibility ends at our own domain.
Our website may link to university pages, scholarship portals, government immigration sites and other resources. Those websites are operated independently and are governed by their own privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the content or data practices of external sites. We recommend reviewing their policies before submitting any personal information.
Section 12
What we send, and how to stop it.
With your consent, we may send scholarship alerts, intake deadline reminders, webinar invitations and destination guides that are relevant to your study plans.
Section 13
How updates are communicated.
We may revise this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology or legal obligations. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated 'Last Updated' date.
Where a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will take reasonable steps to notify you directly. Continued use of our services after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
Section 15
For any question about this policy, a request to access or delete your data, or to withdraw consent, reach our team directly. Please mention your full name and application reference so we can locate your record quickly.
